Im currently sick with it. Can confirm its out there.

I can't take anyone wearing a mask seriously. I immediately ignore anything they have to say. It's like a facial tattoo. Thanks for the warning!

Just got over it. Three days of feeling rotten and another 10 days of fatigue and cough. Today is the first day Ive felt pretty much back to normal. It wasn't the worst I've felt in my life but it was more than just a head cold, and you don't want to go through it if youre elderly or infirm.
It wasn't worth shutting down the world over but the earlier variants did kill a lot of people. Anybody digging in on one side or other of the issue is wrong and probably has an agenda.

Had it. It gets weaker every year, but this one left a lingering sinus infection for about 3 weeks.
It was a fluke that I even took a test.
Just assume most people sniffling and coughing (like the guy next to me on this flight) have it. You’ve probably had it. Everyone will get it. Life goes on.

Im youngish and in actually good shape, so yeah its been mostly annoying. Its worse than a headcold, since Im 4 days into symptoms and theyre still annoyingly present.
But I also have a infant (obv not worried about severe complications but who wants a sick baby for two weeks?) and my FIL is in treatment for prostate cancer. So trying to keep this confined to just me.
