Of course, it is about being different. That same theme has been used COUNTLESS times in other works and will continue to be used. I just find it crazy that we're going to designate this story as the one where being different = gay.
It's more than her just being different.
1. Just listen to the lyrics of let it go. It's littered with expressions associated with coming out. As is the rest of the movie
2. Disney has been extremely pro-pay for many years now. They host gay pride events at their parks every year
3. How many princess movies have you seen where the princess has no male love interest? Like someone else mentioned, it's unlikely that they'll straight up have a character in a gay relationship but I find it pretty unlikely that it's just a coincidence Elsa had no romantic involvement with any guy

Too bad Disney doesn't just cater to Americans and majority of the world agrees that homosexuality isn't right.

Where could you have realistically put one in this story that would have made sense?
Look, I know what you're saying because those same things have been said about this movie before, but I just can't make the leap from gay song, Elsa doesn't have a male love interest to Elsa = lesbian.
The people who originally purported that idea were crazed evangelicals and pastors. The fact that it has stuck with some people is a bit unbelievable.

Meh. They'll clamor for a gay Disney princess but it won't stop there. They will applaud when the day comes, and then they will want gay princes. Then when they get their way, they will want trans princes and princesses. And from there? I don't really know.
But what is clear is that certain people would rather push their agendas any way possible, even it means hijacking beloved Disney cartoons that are solely made to entertain children...and some special adult I guess.
Edit: I guess what I'm saying is a gay character in a cartoon wouldn't bother me if it fit and made sense in the scheme of the story; not just one forced into the picture to appease the ever-vocal minority.

Yeah you're right. And a large majority of the world also thinks the appropriate punishment for it is being stoned to death. Doesn't make that right in the end.

Using their logic, Sword in the Stone was a big gay movie. I mean, no romantic interest. The main character experiments with being different things with an older man, is abused by his father and brother for being different.
Then there's the whole Sword in the Stone imagery...
Obviously that all means Arthur (what a queer name) is a big Poofter.

Using my logic, can you find any subtexts to it in the way I did?

The shooting ice is a symbol of empowerment for hopeless lesbians.
The giant snowman is a symbol of the protective wall that gays and lesbians are forced to create to protect their dignity.
Am I right? Is that how you do it? I could make every single emotion in every film ever made into gaysplanation if that is the case.

Disney knows where their money comes from, and it isn't the LGBT movement.

its not just "let it go" though
i think "Do you want to build a snowman" is an even clearer sign that she's lesbian
Cleary she wants nothing to do with the...
snowMAN
sNOwMAN
NO MAN
boom

There is no need for a radical compromise. Disney doesn't have to show a character get stoned to death as punishment and the majority of the world will be fine just fine as long as the character is punished or experiences karma in some way. So I'm not sure what your point is.
I'm not sure why your vehemently defending Disney making a gay movie either. That's quite disturbing. You don't need to transform kid's mind thinking they should/can experience gay shite when they aren't gay. That's a whole different level of fricked up.

That is true, but they do seem to be the ones who whine the loudest about the stupidest little things.

Easily.
Just like Sleeping Beauty is about Date Rape, Song Of the South is about Apartheid and Steamboat Willie is about the Armenian Genocide

It's true. The Prince definitely did not have sleeping beauty's consent before kissing her.

When I saw the Princess in the Frog, I enjoyed it, but I couldn't help but think there are probably some people, some where, who are offended by this in some way. I didn't have any personal feelings one way or the other, but given the races involved, I figured there were people who wanted the movie to do more and people who wanted it to do less. That is the only time I've ever seen a Disney animated movie and had even an inkling of thought about an in-depth societal theme.

Are you motherfrickers really over analyzing a damn kids movie??
While I seriously doubt they'll even come close to touching on it. They may leave something left to the imagination which is exactly what is happening right now..
Also are queers and donut bumpers not satisfied with Timon and Pumba?? shite they adopted and African kid and raised him...

There were. They were serious criticisms about why a major black character had to spend so much time as a frog and not as an actual black woman.
