The value of a dollar to the rich and wealthy

Does income or total wealth cheapen the value of a dollar?
I mean let’s say you make 250k or 2.5m per year. Does the value of a dollar cheapen proportionately?
So someone who makes 25k buys a beer at the bar. His beer is 10x to 100x more expensive.
Yet when it comes to saving money or giving money, the rich get richer. The rich are hawks about saving and sheepish on giving.
So $100 should be worth $1 (250k) to 1c (2.5m) compared to someone who makes 25k.
Yet I don’t know of anyone who is rich that does value 10k. But for someone who makes 2.5m it would be worth $100 to someone who makes 25k. I dare say someone making 25k spends $100 with less thought than someone who makes 2.5m spending 10k. Why is that?

Poor people are sometimes prone to irresponsible financial decisions?

Too rich to think about it.

When you work to make money you don't want to give it to people who don't. This is why I don't like to tip

I mean is the 0 necessary and what are the odds it is a zero?
You’re a liar.

Excuse me... $3,500,000.03

It’s all about living within your means. There are plenty of rich people who buy more than they can afford. There are plenty poor people who do the same. Don’t spend more than you make and you don’t have to stress about money.

Wealth definitely cheapens the amount of a dollar, baw.
Example: A $1,000 dinner is nothing to a wealthy person but that’s more than a poor person probably makes in a month.
$1,000 is worth much more to a person with less wealth.

If a person is in charge of a business, they’d better be hawkish on saving. Another 2009 crisis comes along and the business won’t make it through to better financial times without the reserves. It’s called prudence.
And Warren Buffett and Bill Gates are “sheepish on giving”.
tl/dr: Shiney Hook is so shiney

I find my wealthy friends live a normal life but splurge on occasions or they eat out at normal places but far more frequently.

What do you consider wealthy? I know the median income for most OT’ers is about 500K a month.

Watch the video of Bill Gates on Ellen trying to guess the prices of average grocery items, he over estimates everything.

Well in his defense, normal people do that all the time on PRICE IS RIGHT

I would say wealthy people value a dollar more.
Wealthy (and I say wealthy not rich because there is a difference), know how to make their money work for them. They look at a dollar and see what it can be worth years down the road.
I tend to see wealthy people nitpick about dollars and cents more than middle class or poor people. It's a big reason why their wealthy to begin with.

If I remember correctly, 75k was the happiest amount.
