I've heard second and third hand of people dying. I do not know of one single person who died from covid well enough to go to their funeral.

but there’s probably 10-15 people I know of that have died. My dad’s boss for example died of it. There’s been some other people I’ve met once or twice or whatever but that’s it.

Thats what I'm talking about....let assume those 15 people had 500 people at each funeral....thats 7,500 people

Thats more people that post on this website.....

No. I did not personally know anyone who died from Covid. The only person I know that even knows someone who died from it was my grandpa. Nobody else in the family or amongst friends lost anybody.

Are we halfway through Sleepy Joe’s 100 days yet? Covid is almost over.

I bet you do and you just dont know it

That seems like a low bar to hit. If I'm not close enough to them to have even heard about them being sick in this age of social media, I wouldn't say I know them.

Okay, I'm sure I've met someone in my life that died from it, but I bet I could go through my phone contacts right now, and not find one person who is dead.

What kind of funerals are these. When really old people die you might have a dozen people at a funeral, I think I have only been to one funeral where that number was approached.

In fact of the few people I know who have died in the past year, two didn't even have a funeral. They got cremated and there was not even a service. Neither died from COVID, a suicide and a stroke.

That being said...I cant see how anyone can say they didnt know anyone that died from COVID or knows anyone that knew someone that died from COVID

That's the number of people that died with Covid, not from Covid. Many of them Covid wasn't the main cause, or even a contributing factor at all.

Ted Cruz promised it would end after November 3, 2020. President Trump made similar statements. We were misled.

Thats not what I mean....Im strictly talking about a friend or family member or mutual friend that you've actually met through someone you know.

Someone you can say.."Damn, that was a good dude/gal/guy/man/lady" someone that you knew/met and they knew/met you at one time

I feel like this should be more than obvious, but to clear it up for the idiots: "I know of no one, who died from covid, whose funeral I would have went to if open (or any) funerals had been allowed."

In other words: "I dont know anyone close to me or the people I know or associate with that have died from covid." Total number of second or third hand deaths I know of equals 3. All over the age of 70. So, no, I do t know a bunch of elderly people outside of the generation above me in my family.

That clear it up for you? Sorry your thread isn't going the way you wanted...

It's the number of people I was using to say thats how many people knew they person that died....was a friend or family member.

I would think most people have at least 500 friends/ family members that would say they knew you if you died.

There is an article just now on Nola.com stating that 70% of the LA Covid deaths were 70 and over. I doubt that LA is an outlier on this. Tells you all you need to know. Think what we have done to a generation of children and young people.
