. If we had 500k dead in this country who were kids or in the prime of their lives it would have been a whole different story

Not really, I had a former coworker who was right around 40 die from it, was zero fanfare or stories. On the flip side my two great aunts both who are right around 80 who came down with covid were hit extremely hard by it, but managed to survive luckily. The problem with Covid is just the randomness of who it seems to effect heavily.

If you died with COVID..you're in that 500k number of people that are counted as dying from COVID

Yes, and no other ailments deaths are counted like this.

If I had a relative that died of cancer and had Covid I wouldnt consider them dying of Covid therefore wouldnt be part of your list.

That's highly unlikely unless you're a hermit.

I know of one person. Friend of a friend.

Didn't know him all that well. I think I met him once five years ago.

I know of roughly 200 people that got it and survived including 20 or so in the "danger zone."

Now that I think about it, 2020 was the first year in a long time I did not know anyone that died from anything.

I don't hang out at nursing homes, where the "childless" have been abandoned.

I do not. I know people that have an uncle or some shite that died, but no one I've ever met died to my knowledge.

Ditto. I don't know anyone personally that died, but I have coworkers or employees that have family or friends that died.

I don't even know anyone personally that had a really severe case. All of my friends and family that had it had mild cases.
