In my own industry, retiring boomers are selling out to PE goons left and right to enrich themselves and as a result are fricking over my generation who are the next gen of partners.
The generation before them did not sell out the industry to enrich themselves nor did the Boomers put in nearly the same amount of time and output that we have gone through.
So there is plenty of contempt to be had for Boomers who were gifted the world on a silver platter and have promptly ripped up the ladder for those behind them.
But go back to groveling to Daddy government to get your check so you don't have to eat cat food and move under the bridge.
