The Universe might be much smaller than once thought

The original estimate is that there were approximately two trillion unique galaxies that make up the known Universe. The figure has been revised down to roughly 200 billion. This new data is based on information brought to us from NASA's New Horizon's probe.

Cool, so then what’s just outside of those 200 billion galaxies?

That's just a slight rounding error

This is what happens when you don't use sig figs properly.

They stop calling them galaxies and start calling them zygolaxies. We don't know how many zyglaxies there are, but that's another topic altogether.

Which galaxy was Star Wars in?

Potentially a lot more galaxies. That's why we always talk about the "visible galaxy" because we can only see light from galaxies that have been in existence within the radius of our location since the beginning of the universe. If you went to the edge of our visible universe, there may be billions of other galaxies that we can't see from our current location.
Also, there is a region of space surprisingly close, beyond which we could never reach, even if we traveled the speed of light for eternity.

And who paid for it?

It'll be three trillion galaxies when they count the mail in's at 3 AM

I was just about to ask that? I've always wondered that.
