I live in Seattle, stopped by a place called Yanni's a couple months ago to get a gyro to go.

My friend was just telling me about Laurel's the other day.

Meh, I’ve read all about the places Robert Irvine used to turn when he did Restaraunt Impssible on Food Network

The places received a short-term boost from TV, newspaper, digital media pub, but lost in the long term, with many closing. I think you are forgetting why they are on TV in the first place...

This show is 100% staged/fake and you should feel bad for having watched it.

Jarvis DeBerry is on the case.
Gordon Ramsay’s gift to The Trolley Stop included a deconstructed ‘po-boy’

Note the update at the end of his column. Looks like the restaurant may not stick with that item.

Twenty years ago, in the late nineties, I remember the thing to do was have breakfast food at the Trolley Stop (not "Shop") after a night of barhopping in New Orleans. In the condition you found yourself in, you would not be concerned about the kitchen's compliance with applicable state health codes.

As a footnote, during this time, the Trolley Stop was enjoying some success, and opened another location on Carrollton, in the Riverbend area. It did not last long, and that location is now the Jazmine Cafe, a Vietnamese restaurant.

Watching it now. The owner’s name is Ragnar and he does not look like a Ragnar at all.

That one is actually legit. Pretty educational. Gr tries to help them instead of producing a screamfest for fox
