If it’s a direct email and I get an OOO response, I may hold off on emailing them but if they’re on a CC, I will keep them in the loop.

Our entire office is closed 2 weeks starting Monday. Do this every year. Clients know.

I’ll check e-mail most days. Once a day. But honestly there isn’t much.

Set firm boundaries with your clients. If you are valuable, they will respect it

I have people begging me to join “teams meetings” while on PTO all the time

This is what happens when the OGs retire and there are no quality young bucks anymore

I don’t know about yall but my MO when someone is out of office is not to continue emailing that person but to figure it out like I’m always forced to when this happens.

America could take a lesson from Europeans in this regard. Being out of office doesn’t mean shite these days

This is stupid. I want to know what was going on while I was out of office. No one is forcing you to check your email on your off days.

That's precisely what an OOO message is for.

DEI hiring practices put incapable people who only know how to have meetings in positions of power.

If you work on PTO, or you are someone who expects someone to reply on PTO, you suck as a human and are a disgrace.

It’s so aggravating when you don’t answer an email and they email again that same day with “anything on this”. Bitch pickup the phone if you need an immediate answer
