Are they under the umbrella of the US government? There's a million ways to intelligently disagree with this bullshite, but you morons pull out these stupid nonsequiters.

Kristalnacht was a more seminal event, with a specific target population.
I don’t see that specific target with the rioting and looting here, but i think you are making a thought provoking and valid comparison. I think what we have in the US now is a low-grade version of Kristalnacht.

There are similarities, but the common theme is communists causing civil unrest to bring about changes in Germany in the 1930s and now in the US. (these BLM fools are useful idiots for the communists, making patriotism=racism is how they are trying to tear down everything) The Nazis were a push back against the communists in the 30s. (For the average German citizen, Nazis were the lesser of the 2 evils- commies vs socialists, especially when you factor in the fallout/sanctions germany received from ww1.) (there was a great thread on this last week). Local and state governments allowing and even encouraging the civil disorder are enabling and emboldening the communists that are behind this. That is very dangerous, but a pushback against all this nonsense could be equally dangerous. this is why the laws should be enforced, instead of standing by as people destroy public and private property.

Ah...resorting to insults. I must have struck a nerve pointing out the folly of your initial argument, which was that published anti-waterver sentiments only matter if they come from the head of state.

Hitler was the Chancellor of Germany and put it written word that he wanted to exterminate the Jews from Germany.
The book was published before he was in control of the whole of Germany.
If you want to say that this isn't being driven/allowed from the top down of the current US government, I'll agree. However, there are definitely some parallels to be made regarding parts of the government and other social institutions in this country.

Yes, every night on the MainstreamMedia News and in every piece of Legislation proposed by Democrats.....next stupid question?

This is totally irrelevant to what you're saying, and if anything, strengthens what im saying. Why would anyone be surprised that Germany was doing this to Jews when the Chancellor wrote a book stating he was going to do this to Jews.

Its totally different. What's going on in the US is 50/50 at best, and probably the majority of people disagree with what's going on. Kristallnacht part of a systematic attempt to wipe the Jews of the face of the planet.

Democrats are writing bills to condemn Republicans to ghettos?

This is where I believe we’re headed. There will eventually be a response to the actions being taken today, and it will be an angry one. My biggest fear is that the economy does tank and people are in dire straits for a long period of time. Combine that with what seems to be a ubiquitous call for white people to admit blame for the problems of others, and we’ll see a time period of civil unrest and nasty violence.

Nope. Nazis rise as a response.
These are Marxist Bolshiviks.
Both are terrible groups but we should be honest about what's happening.
Communists are attempting to sieze control of society. Nazis are their opposite reaction. And they aren't here yet.
We should stop feeding and coddling these communists before their counterpoint in extreme nationalism shows up.

Politics being a pendulum and all that jazz, social media has created a weird situation. The perception in a way is that America is far left leaning right now, although that isn't true, but I suspect that's affected the pendulum in a bad way. It's swinging far fricking left right now, despite that not being reality, but just perception. Eventually, it'll swing back due to said perception. I'm concerned with how far it's going to swing.

No, Democrats are writing Bills to condemn Black people to ghettos, and condemn Conservatives to pay for everything.

There's a lot of Mao's fingerprints all over this. I.e. The cultural revolution.

I can see the parallels. For me, this reminds me of the Taliban who use violence and intimidation to silence views that differ from theirs. In addition, they have destroyed hundred of Buddha statues and other monuments that they found offensive or in conflict with their beliefs.

Which is why we are doomed to repeat it. I’m not roasting you, just stating a fact. Mao murdered tens of millions and here we are with people not even having any sense of what happened. FML.
Do me a favor and google “Maoist Struggle Session”.

I feel like threads where we compare the democrats to the Nazi party are more suitable for the PT board.

Read about the cultural revolution and the Great Leap Forward.
Mao believed in constant revolution to purge dissent and attack capitalists.
