Its always been a black mark on Metairie that a bastion of tackiness like Hooters has such a prime location on Vets.
You would be really mad if you knew our rent there

That one in Metairie still does very well and has quite a few good looking servers. Bartenders are usually hot too.

The real reasons are:
1- a lot of people don't watch sports anymore on TV, so don't care about sports bars.
2- people that went to hooters got married, had kids and it's really not that good anyway, but taking your kids to a boob fest is trashy as shite.

Overpriced. Shitty wings.
A bunch of 5 and 6 women running around dressed like they are 9s.

I never had a bad meal at Hooters - except in Cancun.
The first time I had Hooters was in Ft. Myers before marriage and have enjoyed going ever since.
Nowadays I have to go in alone and get seated before the wife comes in. Otherwise we would not get waitresses who represent the spirit of Hooters, to me.

I’d go to the Lafayette Hooters more if they moved it by Costco. It’s just in a crappy spot and I don’t go that far on Ambassador often.

Theme restaurants all eventually wear out their schtick.

Bottom line: the experience is simply what you make of it. Be positive, folks. Plus, get the French Onion soup, if they still make it.

The woke is strong in that one. On the other hand, it's been a fading business model for many years now.

Being killed by state scholarship programs and student loans.
College girls that would normally be desperate for a job don't have to work there anymore.
Thus, quality of wait staff down where food is okay at best

Only thing good there is the buffalo chicken sammich. It is on point always.

How exactly would the son feel sorry for the girls unless he’s been to a hooters before?
Brilliant observation. He had been. I didn’t say, or imply, that he hadn’t.

The first time I saw a cell phone that could take and store pictures was at the Hooters in Peoria, Illinois sometime around 2007-2009ish. I was there with a group of about six or seven other Caterpillar guys and the waitress passed her phone around us to show us her nudes.
That one way to get some good tips.

The boy went on to play HS football at Brother Martin. He’s 30 now.

I have never been to a Hooters, but I did date a chick who had worked there and won best arse during some contest. She was hot as hell.

The original Hooters locations around Clearwater, FL taste completely different in a good way. They are also the only restaurants not owned by the Hooter's Corp.
