Did Floyd ingest all the fentanyl because he was about to be arrested? Was this dude about to die of an overdose anyways, or did him getting confronted by the cops force the action?

If we change St George to St George Floyd would Broome allow it to incorporate?

IMO, appears he was going to die from swallowing evidence anyway. Chauvin had him cuffed. Seems like the easy play would have been to simply get off of him and keep him face down on the street. The knee (or any weight on him) wasn't needed. IDK. Hindsight and all.
That's what I was wondering. Murder 1 seems like a no-go. Has there been any evidence presented that Chauvin's actions were premeditated? Same with Murder 2 and the requisite malice aforethought.
Manslaughter on the other hands seems (potentially) stickable. The prosecutor's will hone in on the fact that Chauvin was already aware of the dangers of the knee to the neck restraint (regardless of its actual causative nature in this incident) and the officer reluctance to offer potentially helpful first-responder assistance to a person in need (when Floyd was in their sole custody and the EMTs had not yet arrived).

A) fess up and go to prison for however long he would've been in for drug possession
B) commit suicide by ingesting a lethal dosage of drugs to avoid prison
And he chose Option B.
That's the most perplexing part of the entire story, if you don't include everything that happened after, of course.

Meh, shite happens from time to time.

So, the autopsy showed no bruising on the neck muscles and no trauma to Floyd’s trachea.
Said he had enough fentanyl in his system to kill anyone.
Not only that he was complaining of trouble breathing before that had him on the ground.
Symptom of fentanyl overdose of trouble breathing if you didn’t know.

The $27 m is payment to George Floyd who along with Chauvin staged the entire incident.
When the trial is over and Chauvin is sentenced to life, he will be released clandestinely to join his good buddy George to live in Fiji or the Maldives anonymously.
Anybody ever see George`a dead body?
I'm just sayin

real reason for the 27 million to Floyd's family..

Sounds like a shitey police department.
But, I guess "accidents happen."

He is getting off. The city got ahead of this. Probably avoided some headache and legal fees. It was a strategic move.
If you think he’s getting off, I do as well, then why the hell would they give his family $27m? They didn’t avoid a headache or legal fees. They just gave away a huge some of taxpayers money for nothing.
