You've got too much time on your hands.

You're not going to have any impact on the topic at hand.

Does it matter?

Try to focus on the things you can make a difference in.

We've already got the best coach and the best recruiting class. Those vents will not impact anything related to the football team.

UNR (University of Nevada, Reno). Both have really nice campuses.
Huh? UNR? I’ve never even heard of it before. Ever.

I’d call that pretentious a-hole “Dangle” for the rest of his natural life.

Anyone who matriculated at a UNR can’t tell anyone shite about anything.

I just drove by there last week to eat at that Taco place and was thinking how much NICER they looked than the old married student's apartments.

each building has over ONE HUNDRED DRYER VENTS peppered on each facade and side.
I just opened my Excel spreadsheet where I've listed the Top 100 things I'm pissed about and the number of LSU dormitories with dryer vents is not on the list...

And are you sure they are dryer vents and not (bathroom) exhaust fan vents? Either way it’s the side of the building or the roof typically.

They are dryer vents because those units are apartments with washer/dryer in each unit. I worked with the same developer on some residence halls at UT and this exact issue came up, but there's not really a better option if each unit has one.

ETA: Each unit probably has a kitchen hood vent as well.

We ended up not doing apartments so each hall has a big laundry room on the ground floor instead.

I had friends from California and Nevada visit about 8 years ago. We went to a game (vs Georgia, great win), and they weren't just shocked at how beautiful LSU's campus was, but I think were more than a little upset that they didn't get to criticize it for not being as attractive as their schools'. One went to Cal and the other to UNR (University of Nevada, Reno). Both have really nice campuses. But LSU is one of the best in the country, imo. It's the trees.

But the dorms have dryers in them. With vents!

State awarding contracts based on DEI instead of competence, bid results or technical ability/history of effectiveness.
