Just drove from New Orleans to BR and had a fair amount of ice on the car when I got here
It was 33 up until the 61 exit, and went to 31 after that. I am driving back in 30 minutes. All of the interstate was open

4 hours of sleet in St Landry Parish. A non-elevated part of I49 is being de-iced in northern part of parish. 18 wheeler went off and overturned. Pickup upside down on I49 south of Opelousas

About 1.5 to 2.0 inches of snow. Started with freezing rain, sleet and snow about 4:30 am, snow from about 5:30 am on. Pretty windy and heavy at times and dry, hard to make good snowballs. Dogs went crazy. It's 11:30 am and there is ongoing light snow, a little more than flurries.
