Just wanted to describe something that happened yesterday. My company makes 10K and 6K gas charging valves for accumulators for the offshore market. I have a website and a linkedin page.

Yesterday I was contacted by a senior subsea engineer on a rig in Las Palmas... Canary Islands. They have accumulator valves leaking subsea so he got on the internet and started doing random searches. He came across us through linkedin and then came directly to our website and contacted me for additional information, pricing, etc... we exchanged emails yesterday and again this morning. Looks like we are about to pick up another semi and he is putting me in touch with his colleagues in Aberdeen.

I could have spent $50K in advertising in various oil & gas related publications and never found this guy in Las Palmas. Makes putting up with all of the Linkedin spam type stuff worthwhile.

He is going to send you a check for too much. You need to deposit it into your account and send him the remainder.

It's Dolphin Drilling out of Aberdeen. Pretty well known in North Sea, not so much over here.

It’s a game changer for small retailers like us. Businesses that utilize social media effectively tend to be successful. Facebook for our older customers and Instagram for our younger ones.

Thanks, I'll have my sales guy call over and steal the deal. Never would have known about this if it wasn't for social media like tigerdroppings.

Allocating dollars for Google's Adwords platform (paid search) is the smartest move a business could make from an advertising standpoint.

We are close to compliant with API Q1 9th edition. We should be certified next year.
