quote:I don't think so. No one will take Hillary seriously, but I think Trump is such a wildcard and alpha that the rest of the world will see him as much better than a crooked, shitty politician that has been riding on the coattails of her husband all her life.
We are all going to look weak-minded for electing either of these two clowns.
Plus, Trump has a hot wife. That garners respect by itself
Eta: The posters on the poli board are complete flip-floppers on a lot of things. They are overly emotional, irrational, and they can't think clearly. That's why they're called politards

The fact that seemingly otherwise intelligent people believe this is mind-blowing.

I do have one question tho if someone wants to answer. If HRC does become the next Pres will that make our country look weak to some other countries because we will be led by a woman? No disrespect to women on my part but Ive heard in some countries that women are less than cattle. Wouldn't it be disrespectful to the leaders of some countries to have to do business/considered equal to/comply to a woman?
I myself could care less if we have a woman leader. I'm just concerned about the way we would be looked upon by other world leaders because of it. Thoughts?
whether the Democrats and Hilliary want it to be or not, this is an issue
you can't compare Margaret Thatcher and Golda Meir bc those aren't us. When the POTUS talks, people listen.

Some educated but clueless and uninformed folk over there

He has a chance. If there were a domestic terrorist event his chances go up dramatically IMO. If something credible came up against Hillary in the FBI investigation that would also boost his chances.
But I have a hard time believing he's likely to win - even against as weak (highly disliked) of an opponent as Clinton.

I'm one of those that could give half a frick less about politics or who the next Pres will be. I don't vote, so in return I don't bitch about the president.
Your attitude and demographic piss me off more than the Hillary supporters even. You ever think about the men and women who fought and died for your right to vote? You could give "half a frick less" about it apparently.

Haha. I was downvoted for telling a statistical fact. He has a 50% chance of winning. Either he will win or he won't.
I'll give you 3:1 money that dinisaurs come out of hiding tomorrow at exactly 3:23 pm. I won't even take the juice if you lose. That's a great payout for something thats 50% likely to happen. You should bet the farm.

Hillary fricking Clinton? Who in the actual frick would vote for that piece of garbage?
If you hadn't noticed there are a lot of ignorant people in this country, look what's been in office for the pass 8 years.

Uhh, obviously. Dumbass.

A Clinton/Trump election is quite sad.
What's sad is the number of people that have been programmed by the media into thinking Trump is sooo bad, evil, Hitler, blah, blah, blah.

Ban-worthy IMO. Don't ever associate me with that psychopath again please.

Of the 3 choices still running....I have to go with Trump.
HRC...just no. Sanders..no Trump, hey let see what happens.

I am assuming the O-T Lounge with its different demographics may have a slightly different view and am curious to see what you guys think.
In your honest opinion, does Trump have a chance of becoming the next POTUS? Does he beat Hillary in November?

Trump is hated by over half the population. That's not opinion, that's a fact. There will be too many regular republicans who won't show up to vote for him. Its going to be blood bath.

So me not giving a shite about who the next POTUS will be means I have no respect for our fallen soldiers and veterans? That's a really big stretch you made there just to be a dick.
