Appreciation and acceptance is very important. The last three years were perfect with me not being a fall down drunk anymore. Sadly I waited too long and she is no longer here. I beat myself up over this all the time.

I think many men might feel they have never been truly understood by a woman .Maybe not even their mothers. Or even had a woman who even pretended she wanted to understand him. Can’t speak for women.

My husband always says his biggest aggravation in our relationship is when I won’t let him eat that tuna cat when he wants to. It’s hard though…. I’m just not in the mood to have that butthole and tuna cat licked all the time. Can a girl get a break????!

You may not ever get someone who completely understands you.. What really matters is that they accept you even if they don't always understand you.

It’s tough to be vulnerable. I don’t think my wife would care but I don’t want to seem weak in front of her. I know plenty of guys who have let themselves be vulnerable only to have it thrown back in their face later
