I would say that life in the south is much better than most large northern cities with democratic leadership. Most are broke (financially and morally). Huge portions are like a third world country (see Detroit).

I prefer to avoid political discussion, but that's not what I remember from the Poliboard. There is disagreement an abortion, SSM, the War on Drugs, and foreign interventionism.
Consensus is mainly on gun control and taxes.

I've never been on the political board, but like any message board it's going to be 90% people that like the same stuff. No shite. Also, it's a message board dude it's not like it has any affect on anything. Why would you let it get you so worked up? If you just let dumbasses congregate amongst themselves they never leave that environment (on both sides)
