This is one instance where that barrel of KY on amazon would have come in handy.

He was trying to go in the birth canal, but missed. The wrong hole he found instead turned out to be a lot tighter than he thought.

They should have had at least attempted to break his legs,
The video says they were strongly considering that because he had lost all control of his legs and couldn't bend his knees to the side the way that was needed to free him. As they were considering it was when the pulley broke and busted the rescuers face. So they then had to switch to getting him out. Space constraints played a big part. I don't see how they would have even done it. One guy isn't breaking anyone's legs in the space of 10inx12in.

Just thinking about this guys bones having collapsed into the crevice he was trapped in makes me uneasy.
To be fair though, the rescue team was there with him all the way until he was declared dead. They gave him high doses of morphine to make sure he wasn’t in any pain when it happened. They felt his ankle and when they saw that he had no pulse and was unresponsive, they declared him dead. Keep in mind that he had been upside down for 48 hours which is extremely strenuous on the heart

He went in the wrong hole..Not trying to be funny but he mistakenly went into the wrong shaft
Its funny because I love to explore caves myself. You know, the kinds that are soft, squishy, pink, and warm.

Thanks alot, now I'm down the caving tragedies rabbit hole
A really really bad one is the Mossdale caving disaster from the UK in the 1960s. YouTuber Shrouded Hand does great work on creepy videos.

I definitely have a form of claustrophobia, the thought of my arms being restricted at my sides is what makes me anxious. It’s crazy his remains are still at the bottom of that crevice. As a fellow 6 footer, caving has been cut from my bucket list
