I don’t consider Maryland as the northeast.

This board has labeled me an alcoholic. Aside from that, in an effort to be a better husband, I talked to someone and am doing my best to dry out. 17 days sober so far.

For a hell of a lot of texans, being from Texas is an identity.

You’re a better poster than this. Nobody is forcing you to make an appearance on page 2. Have a blessed evening and Geaux Tigers.

I think you misunderstood what I was originally saying.

Yes, you are correct. I was suggesting that people in the South don’t tend to identify themselves with sexual preference and/or their views on whose lives matter.

Indeed there are. I love the history of these older cities. Boston has done a great job preserving things along the Freedom Trail. I can only imagine how a crisp autumn day feels in the park.

I'm not from here but I don't have southerners forcing their confederate flag on me nor do they criticize me for not being on board with it

Sorry dude. I'm quite the dick head. Didn't realize all of that. Congrats on drying out.

Buy me some WTRB then. If you see me out and about, I'll be driving my truck. Just flag me down. My truck pic, so you'll know:

It’s tough. Summer is essentially drinking season for me. Every night is an opportunity, whereas I don’t have that option during the school year.

I personally love Boston. Fun town. Great food. Great sports. A lot of down to earth people outside of the hipster and university areas.

Boston is freaking awesome. I love visiting. We're heading there later this year and I can't wait

In my couple of days here I’ve dealt with some nice people. The folks in Philadelphia had a certain edge. I went to a Phillies-Mets game and the fans were as advertised. Lots of foul language directed at opposing fans.

In my previous marriage I had to go to Martha's Vinyard for a week each summer. More specifically Chappaquidick. Her family has a home there. I fricking hated it. The place is closed off to commoners, and they like it that way. Uber rich liberals with no manners and no cares about the poor except stay off my private beach. So glad I do not have to go back, but my kids still go every summer. Gross, ticks, poison ivy and ugly NE women.

There’s so much to do. We have a couple of more days here. I think we may go check out the North End tomorrow. One thing about cities up here that I like is the melting pot environment has led to great food for pretty much any cuisine.

You’re seeing that now in major southern cities, but I’m sure it’s been that way here for years.
