New Orleans this weekend is Halloween Weekend, probably one of the biggest weekends of the year besides Mardi Gras

Halloween Weekend Friday Oct 28th-31st
Saints vs Raiders Sunday Oct 30th in da Dome
Halloween Monday Oct 31st
Pels vs Warriors Friday Nov 4th at the Arena
LSU vs Bama Saturday Nov 5th Tiger Stadium
Saints vs Ravens Monday Night Football Nov 7th in da Dome

Eta:
November 6th is Oak Street Po Boy Festival

Hotel rooms are averaging around $250/night give or take......depends on where you wanna get robbed and/or shot

Feel free to add the events I may have left out

Completely forgetting the saints were at home, I got a hotel at the monteleone for Sunday after a work event and it was under $250 (without parking, etc). I was stoked for a Sunday night at that price and look forward to it…saints game is just a bonus

Eta: after work event, I’m checking in then not leaving the premises

By this 08 means, how's your health insurance?

ETA: Life and car, too, for that matter.

That’s going on everywhere. you already had Krew of Boo. What else ya got? If it’s that big a weekend there should be more than the Saints game to offer.

If you're staying at the monteleone I wouldn't leave either....you would have everything you need in the hotel..a bar, music, food, room service...etc....no reason to go looking for trouble

Raiders fans, NOLA thugs and Bourbon Street on Halloween.

Can't see this being a combustible mix.

It’s one of the reasons I got a hotel room there. Took the Monday off. Work event ends right around check in time. Will leave there, check in and within 20 be at the bar. I’ll sit there until dinner, eat at hotel, go back to the bar then call it a night….debated doing the same at the 4 seasons since I haven’t been but for this trip, I’ll take tried and true
