No they aren’t. That’s what “fordspecrelease.com” says it will look like and they are wrong because they are not a real automotive publication.

Remember folks, the Ranger platform will likely be the NEW Ranger platform, not the one that ended in 2011. At least, that's the way I see it.
That old Ranger platform was fairly worthwhile, my '94 has served me well, and I don't want to replace it.

Problem is, they're pricing it well out of the old Ranger clientele. I mean I get it that auto prices are way up from 23 years ago when I bought my Ranger. But damn. I still got that truck for less than $10,000 in 1995 with 23 miles on it.

Trucks are "supposed" to be utilitarian, work horses, not luxury. Yet they're priced even on the low end, well beyond that, any more.

I personally love old 2 door SUVs like the Bronco, 2 door Tahoe, K5 Blazer, Ram Charger, and older Jeeps. But in 2018 no one buys two door vehicles. Even Jeeps are mostly 4 doors these days.
