It’s like nails on a chalkboard to me. I’m watching a documentary where this British guy travels throughout the Americas and I never realized until now how much I don’t like the accent.

That’s not even a real one

It’s nothing against them personally, it’s just that choppy and abrupt start/stop way of speaking.

It is now and has been for a long time, they should have advanced past the stone age if they wanted to keep their own language.

Not Native American.

Italian American, but appropriated the NA culture and lived practically his whole life as a NA when the Irish were hanging the Italian immigrants from trees in New Orleans because they were coming in taking good Irish jobs for less money.

Sound familiar.

I got to meet Iron Eyes Cody at a western movie convention in Memphis. His accent was quite native New York.

Irish channel New Orleans actually. Which isn't that far off of New York if you tilt your head right.

We generally break out the accent to have fun at your expense.

Playing with British idiots is a double bonus

Not a single racist thing about it, their civilization never progressed past the stone age, end of story.
