Is Houston a sanctuary city? You can kiss that achievement good bye if so.

They have good ones and bad ones, with the bad ones outnumbering the good ones 8 to 2.

Doesn't shock me. Go to a Wal Mart in Houston is like a trashy version of a UN hearing.

After googling, there appears to be much disagreement on the most diverse city, depending on metrics. Houston usually makes the top 5 but most lists still have NYC #1. I have no dog in the fight, just noticed it.

It's true. In just a brief visit you'll meet white collar Mexicans, gangsta Mexicans, illegal Mexicans, cowboy Mexicans, drunk Mexicans, mariachi Mexicans. It's like the Mexican section of Epcot.

As someone who has only visited Houston, how strongly are neighborhoods and areas segregated? Like in BR, it's north and south BR. Are there heavier white and then heavier Latino sections of houston?

That's another thing. Are Panamanians and Costa Ricans, for example, really distinct enough to be considered culturally diverse? I realize there are many other nationalities in Houston, but many of them are close culturally.

I'm so sick of the sheeps crying racist about everything. It's such a overused term that it means nothing anymore.

At the end, they are all the same, descendants from the Spaniards and the native indians.
