If you don't realize that the Montreal Screwjob was a work, you are a mark. End of discussion.

Even a drug addled Scott Hall could tell from a million miles away.

I believe Bret has come out and said it was a work. “Created by him”. Obviously he’s gonna claim he created it.

It thought that for awhile but eventually realized it worked out too perfectly if that was the case.

The problem with conspiracy theories is they start from how it all worked out and then work backward filling in the blanks to explain what happened. When in real life things are rarely if ever that clean.

The older I get the more I think it was a work. But I also believe the Savage/Stephanie thing.

Scott was an artistic shite-stirrer. One of the best.

you really think him and Shawn never talked about any of this? Why wouldn't they? And you think if Shawn let him in on it, he would smarten up the marks?

..come on.

How original.

Mine is the undead wizard cowboy whose brother later became a mayor in Tennessee.

Hart was such a bitch on the way out. When you leave a company for another or retire you always lose and or drop the title...good lord

He would have to anyone, except Shawn.

And I don't blame him at the time..

When John Wayne went from 20th Century to universal did he have to put the Indians over before he left?

"I can't lose in Canada!" Even though Montreal is like 2300 miles from his actual hometown of Calgary.
I loved Bret as a kid but he's so cringy with how much of a mark he is.

In the latest episode of most wanted treasures, they went looking for harts jacket that was stolen. He talked about his contract that was up and he really wanted to stay with WWE. Also the doc. Beyond the mat was filming there, and he was so pissed he broke Vinces nose.

Used to watch wrestling but lost interest after the attitude error.

Wrestling With Shadows, not Beyond The Mat.

Honky Tonk Man has remarked that the documentary crew lucked out because, if not for this, it would have been the most boring documentary ever.
