Me, my brother, and a friend went and played there sunday. I haven't been there in probably 4 or 5 years. I heard rumors of it closing but didn't know the details. So we get there and just the parking lot something looked off. Just looked unkept and dirty. So we pay $35, already i'm a little pissed because santa maria is like $55 and is nice. There wasn't a single hole marker on any hole on the course. The ditches were overgrown. They have torn out some trees and left basically a mudhole in place. And every tee box and green is littered with goose shite.

They really have no right to charge anyone for anything there. I don't know who the "pro" is there, but he should be ashamed that they charge people to go to that shite hole.

I played it Saturday, it wasn't that bad.

Greens were in decent shape.

The Goose shite is expected.

You get relief from Goose shite baw, one club length and can't be closer to the hole. You have to play through deer shite though.

Played there saturday. It was packed and moving extremely slow bc of a 5-some in front of us. One of the rangers drives up and believes its our fault. Whatever, then says we have to pour our beer out to continue playing. He drives off and we keep playing.

Kicker was that they didnt have anyone on hole 1 checking receipts/tee times. Not a single person out there checking the pace in the beginning.

This is the same course that hosts the Fred's Invitational.

This has been my experience recently. Usually a group of 50 or 60 year olds taking their sweet time, it's been taking over 4.5 hours to play 18 recently. They need to set the max at 4 players.

If I play in the afternoon and notice no one on the back 9 I'll start there then finish off with the front 9

I've never broken par. And don't ever see myself doing so.

I dunno. It wasn't looking good. We quit with 2 holes left because we were stuck behind very slow golfers.

I don't play often at all, but have been getting back into it slowly. But that course is pure shite right now.

I'm surprised that they even bother checking receipts in the first place. Hell, it shocks me they even bother mowing the course.
