I have been waiting on this one. Wes is great and anyone interested in the historical evidence behind the Bible should give his YT channel a gander. He made quick work of ole Billy boy.

Listened to the whole episode with no previous knowledge about Wes Huff, this was actually a great episode. More of a historical perspective on the Bible/Christianity.

Wes Huff is a pretty renown Bible scholar and Christian apologist. He schooled the Carson guy in a random debate a few weeks ago that went pretty viral on Twitter and Tiktok. I guess that put him on Joe Rogans radar. Pretty huge audience that will now get exposed to a very knowledgeable and Godly guest. More momentum for subtle shift in the zeitgeist for religions and specifically Christianity imo. Rogan has been inching closer and closer to diving into religion. Exciting times.
Oh god, Rogan going from provocative interviewer of interesting people to right wing cultural mouthpiece platforming christard theology

I have a feeling this will be a watershed moment for Rogan and will lead to his conversion.
I can attribute early Joe Rogan episodes (like 2011-2013 fleshlight days) to embracing fringe theories like the annunaki , the Jesus mushroom theory , etc in a pursuit for truth (I was in my early 20s).
over the past few years I have been studying more about christian apologetics which debunk a lot of these claims.
I think what we are seeing with more people finding the actual truth is an actual movement and not isolated events

I wish Michael Heiser was still alive. He would have been a great guest on Rogan.

You’re retarded
We let you atheists take the wheel for 20 years and now everything sucks. Who could’ve predicted that changing America from worshipping Jesus to worshipping wokeness and diversity would’ve ruined everything

Why don’t you listen to it with an open mind?
Instead I’m sure you’ll continue to blast it as “Christarded” without hearing a single word said

Well, at least Joe has more 'evidence that demands a verdict' to consider. He mentions often how he has Christian friends, and that if you live a Christian life you will have a happy and fulfilling life. By his words toward the end of the show, believing that the son of God came to Earth, died for our sins, was resurrected, and promises to come back, is a lot to believe and accept. Without saying as much, it was apparent he wasn't ready to make that commitment.

Listen my guy, religion is stupid. The idea of a god is stupid. You’re talking to a guy who sends his kids to catholic school and thinks this way. I get that it might serve a purpose for some, but it is some silly arse shite for adults to waste time on

Trump won so you can’t talk like that anymore. Freedom of speech is legal now so we don’t have to listen to your fake news

can you explain why you think it’s stupid? Seems pretty surface level

Who is the idiot next to Billy on the original debate? That dude is a fricking annoying idiot

Waste time on, but not waste money on?
Why send them to Catholic School when they could go to the fruits of world public school?

You ever tried DMT?
No. I'm afraid I'd have a bad trip. I'm gonna stick to wiskey. I am intrigued, though, at the report that if you shine a Lazer on a wall while on DMT you'll see code aka The Matrix.
