I have to say, in a world where I would hit big on the Mega Millions, would love to clean out Hatcher, Hodges, and Johnson, add up to 4 more floors and some modern elevators...then make them into dorms again!!
AND tear down Lockett!!!!!
AND tear down Lockett!!!!!

I lived in the Pentagon in 07/08. I fricked in herget, Miller, highland, and on top of the Indian mound in addition to beuregard

In the new master plan Lockett is being torn down. Along with Middleton, Turead (could never remember how to spell it), and a couple other crappy non-historic buildings.
We'll see if this ever happens, but here's to hoping.

Well when the pentagon was built there was no such thing as ac but yes they put window units in. When you pass the dorm you can see them. They were at least installed in 2006; don’t know when they originally installed them.

Bunch of fricking Hergeteers in here.
I lived in McVoy, but does anyone remember the rooms in Herget that were like 4 or 5 beds all in one room? I had some buddies that did that. They thought it sounded like a good idea, but it turned out to be terrible.

not even sure where the Herg is...I lived in Hatcher and Kirby Smith before going to Tigerland...

It's going to be like an entirely different place that just happens to have Tiger Stadium and the name Louisiana State University but the time 2030 rolls around.
I'm sure they won't ever touch a single part of either Lockett or Middleton, though.

But, remember when most dorms didn't, and all the dorm windows would be open, blaring music, flying flags, toilet paper, or whatever else people wanted to make a statement with? Seems hard to believe I saw that in my lifetime.

So basically no original dorms will exist. My husband lived in power and I lived in graham. Both gone pecan.

Baw... 3rd floor 07 was where it was at. They literally held a mandatory meeting for us with the BRPD...said the shite had to stop, because at that point our one floor accounted for something llo ike 70% of the on campus vandalism at the time. shite was non-stop

Yes there was one of those big window hotel type units. I moved from the Pentagon in to student worker housing that had no a/c. It actually wasn't that bad.
