I thought that was you but didn't see your picture that you used to have up. I hopped in this thread late but what are you going around doing?

The water never receded in that area as far as I know. I haven't been able to travel down highland all week.

They did a 70' "controlled" cut already?

dont think so. Still a day or so away from doing this. AB still has to drop enough to open the road up so back flow does not occur.

How does one go about getting a FEMA trailer to live in when they are made available?

Is it as simple as contacting FEMA and it being first come first served?

Anyone know where I can get concrobium? Anywhere from the gulf coast to Denham. I've called most places and can't find any.

Can anyone tell me who has the best video/picture coverage of everything over the last week? I cancelled DirecTV 2 weeks ago(genius...) and my internet/Cell signal went out over the weekend so we missed out on all the coverage. We had a HD antenna hooked up but it wouldn't pick up Channel 2 or 9 for whatever reason.

Thanks

Hey guys, coming down south to help tomorrow, partnering with a Church that will assign us to whatever needs to be done. Could be distributing/unloading supplies, cleaning out homes, etc. We won't know until we get down there. I am bringing basics, boots, gloves, etc but was wondering is there anything I need to bring that I might need be thinking about?

We are getting there around 7 am and leaving around 8pm to head back home. I know it's only a day but figured you guys could alway use some extra man power. I'm just worried I won't be prepared when I get there. I plan on leaving most of the stuff I bring in case someone else needs to use it after us.

I heard someone with FEMA on the radio that said not to expect FEMA trailers. The manufacturers that made them after Katrina are no longer doing so and they are too expensive.
