Kleinpeter gauge still showing the water is rising now at 11.34 ft

Unless something shocking happens, that Kleinpeter gage is petering out. It has risen 4 inches in the last 7 hours. It took 6 hours prior to that to rise 4 inches. While it hasn't officially crested, it is running out of time to do anything significant.

ETA: Anything more significant.

Jesus, that top map really puts in perspective just how many waterways y'all have in a concerntrated area for those of us that aren't from there.

Hey Titus, if I was a dick to you today I apologize. Been uptight. Just trying to wrap my head around this tragedy. Seems like every hour it gets worse

I apologize for popping in on page 5-whatever and asking a question that's surely been answered somewhere in this thread, but what is up with Airline Highway? Where is it closed currently and is projected to get worse, overnight or better? Tia

Not sure who I kissed off in life, but if this water don't stop rising here in st.Amant by the high school I will lose 2 houses in less than a year and a half, by natural disasters.

Just checked the ditch that runs under the main road at Stonegate and it appears the water isn't flowing. Haven't walked out by the ponds though to see how the main canal is looking.

You don't need to apologize to me for anything. I've just been yanking your chain a little.

I'm not really evil. Just frustrated. And maybe too old fashioned

Could be worse. You could lose both arms or something. At least you got your arms.

It can be pretty bad in New Orleans when it floods, I remember when I was a kid this one time I was with my mom at the Rite Aid getting supplies during a heavy downpour and these caskets were just floating around everywhere outside. We were just standing there in line when all of a sudden a bunch of them floated down through the parking lot.

One actually had slid downhill so fast it made it in the store and through the doors, and I was shocked when the lid sprung open and the corpse sat straight up and yelled "Hey, you got anything to stop this coffin?"
