I know evacuations took place around 1am due to water in the houses on Cannon Road between Roddy and 431.

I thought things were okay closest to Roddy on Cannon.

There is so much water just sitting in places up stream from here still is amazing. I think it's gonna be a while before it drains

If anyone has an update of what's going on in the Bayou Paul neighborhood right now, please share.

Checking for a friend on the Prairieville area near this area. Any info would be appreciated.

Last I heard people were trapped in the neighborhood and could only get out via boat but no real water in houses yet. That was late after yesterday though.

Yeah I don't think it will rise any more but it's going to be awhile until the water recedes all the way.

Yes please. I slept on my brother's front porch because I couldn't take my father's snoring. I am sitting out looking at highland listening to the cardinals with my brother's Great Dane. Any news about Manchac/Bayou Paul is appreciative. If you pick me up, I'll even buy Kolaches.

Does anyone know if Costco will be open today? Multiple families lost everything. At my grandfathers and he will need plenty of food to last a while.

I live at the corner of Henderson bayou and Norwood rd on a gravel road about a mile in. Was boat evacuated yesterday morning, lost my truck, wife's extra car, pretty much everything. The water came up faster than I believed was possible. I don't know when to expect it to reced enough to get back in
