Once you select a gauge from the map, a detailed page will be called up. Scroll down for the crest level information.

Rain appears to be expanding in coverage and intensity over the BR area, esp. up along 61.

What is scary is that we never got the break they were calling for. It has not stopped raining for even one second at our house.

We got a much needed break in Walker. Either way, tomorrow I'll be cleaning carbs on my boat to make sure I can rely on it.
It's coming down hard again. According to 100yr lsu maps, my house should not flood. This 500yr stuff has me worried though

I hope someone explains that also...
My sister lives on Antioch and I would hate to see there house flood (elevation 27.5)....
River at 40 would be bad bad

TBH, ignore the 100 year maps. If things go as predicted, there will be a flood no one here has seen in their lifetime.
There's always the chance we could luck out though!

Projected crest of the Amite River at Manchac Point is 21. That's not far from Antioch. The projections above 40 are up in Denham. Big difference.

Getting sand bags will be a challenge. 100 bags and I could keep the water out of my house.
But if my gets an inch, everyone around me will have multiple feet

Any word on Duff Road closer to Walker High or the Lakes at Fenwood? How's the water over there?

Same here. There is a blue line around our neighborhood on the 100 year because of a small canal. Even though I'm in southern Tangi and there are rivers all around us I can't fathom what it would take for water to be in this particular spot, but that's what everyone being interviewed on TV says also.

My parents live off of South Harrells Ferry near the entrance into White Oak Landing. They are out of town this weekend but should they be worried about flooding over there?

Thanks for clarifying for me!

My parents are in the same area. Yes, they are worried.
I'm sure exact spots vary but they are looking at where to get sand bags

Duff road is impassible by car. Earlier this morning impassible by truck.
I live behind lakes of fen wood. It's wet in there. The driftwood estates houses are flooded right across the RR tracks. I road around on the ranger but didn't go in fen wood because of traffic.
Wouldn't be surprised to see flooding there. Especially the back

Staying dry brother
I've got family that lives in Canada whose house might take on water in Central, going too see if we can get it sandbagged tomorrow

Anyone seen the radar? We might actually get 6 more inches. EBR, LP, St Helena...
