I don't know if you have any TD alters... but you became a TD legend in roughly 350 posts
that's BOSS material right there
No, no TD alters. I've dropped in around here from time to time though.

Please give us updates if you know about this area - this is where I expect the next backwater flooding to occur.

His posts from yesterday saved tens of thousands of people in BR via TD, Facebook, and word-of-mouth. News hadn't said anything related to backflow, and most people hadnt even heard of it until last night
dude potentially saved lives.
and he was spot on about everything! i was able to warn friends/family based off of his info/projections.

Did I see you on Reddit posting about tropical storms, too? Or am I making that up?

No offense to what is happening in Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas, but how the frick was the Lafayette area not on this first list? I know they said others can be added, but that area has been pretty damn bad.
I hope everyone gets the assistance they need, but damn this process is wack. Just glad someone can get some assistance now.

Hopefully it is just because on no internet/cell service for them.
My sister had to walk to the front of the subdivision to get cell reception and I could barely hear her.
Hopefully cell reception picks up elsewhere and you hear from your family soon.

I live close to this area - the water is incredibly high there. If it is still rising, then I expect a lot of areas on Bayou Fountain to flood out very soon.

Supernovasky, I'm in Georgia but I have relayed the information you have provided to my friends and family in BR and it has kept them safe.
Let me know how to contact you because I owe you a dinner at Ruth's Chris or your choice when I get back down there...
After this is all said and done lets talk, I won't turn down a good steak but I'm also not taking money from someone with family losing everything! I hope your family is ok.

Hey soooo, I've been wondering something, probably not the most appropriate topic at the moment, but I'm just gonna go ahead and ask....
Any chance the garbage trucks are gonna run tomorrow?

Anyone have any visibility into UClub area w/ Manchac overflow? Just trying to get decent assessment - pretty sure they're ok there (they are not near Manchac).
Looks like Manchac actually starts and flows that way instead of other way around
