this is westhaven sub right next to bluebonnet and burbank. 2ft+ of water in the streets from backed up storm drains. It is still rising.

I believe that's the only area south of Highland that's affected so far, and I still think there's something uniquely wrong with it. Summerwood is still bone dry as of 1:15 PM, and I looked as far as I could down the driveway of Bluebonnet Place apartments, which is between the two, and saw nothing. Bluebonnet south of Burbank is dry as a bone, i.e. Springlake/Fairhill.

Bayou Fountain at Burbank/Highland is slightly higher than when I looked at 7 AM. Now water is touching the white divided line along the curve near Highland, and there is some water coming out on the opposite side of the road, which wasn't there this morning. I couldn't tell any change at Bluebonnet; it's still several feet below road level.

Should I stay by college or go by my cousin on Burbank by staring?

I've got some friends who live over off meadowbend by Burbank/staring and their street has been flooded since friday. By the sounds of the back-flow, it may only get worse over there. College sounds much safer at this point in time

LL do you know anything about Norfolk dr? I don't what subdivision that's in!

Between Bluebonnet and Essen on the north side of i10. I don't know anything about their situation but they're very close to my best friend with a two story house. If you're in contact and they need help, email me.

At this time I am staying put. You missed the purpose of my post. Following flood threats I want to help in relief and clean up operations.

Any threat to uclub?

Yes I think so. Streets in U Club look to be 16-18. So if the 21.5 makes it all the way back there then yes. It's just difficult to determine if there will be a uniform rise, or if timing will affect how high it rises.

Flowing west is no good - means some serious flooding is going to go on. There is nowhere west for the water to go.

its the storm drains that are shot in that neighborhood. has to be. thats the only reason why its flooding. all of the water is being pumped back out of the drains into the streets
