The Great Flood of 2016: Backwater Flooding Occuring (8/14/16)
I was just at the Bayou Manchac bridge over Old Jefferson (73). Water flowing westnatna pretty good clip.

That is at this location for people unsure:

I would be seriously concerned as this is the main flooding event I was waiting for.

Any areas in blue on this map should make plans to leave:

MSM hasn't made a peep about it

Nothing to appeal to their liberal audiences. Not enough vunables being rescued. People in BR taking care of their own shite, neighbors helping neighbors, not standing beside the road wailing about the gubberment needing to come take care of them.

And to be clear, this isn't meant to have a racial tilt. The differences between ALL BR residents and certain segments in NO was noticeably different following Gustav and again in this crisis. We just deal with it.

Yes that area is going to flood if it hasn't already. The big questions are now high and how many places outside the blue areas flood too.

Water still rising into the streets in Santa Maria. Most folks there are high enough, but some aren't. Question is how far upstream will this 21.5 level travel?
