Looks like Ward is back flowing. This could be bad.
You have been beating this drum for two days. You weren't wrong.
It is the worst in modern history by far and many have not gotten it yet but will.

assume that most/all homes are flooded along Old Hammond near Millerville?
Friend lives in that area. Evacuated last night but received a report of water up to the windows.

Ok thanks I live there too but I'm currently stuck at my parents house in Livingston parish which has 4.5ft of water in it. Hoping my place there doesn't get flooded as well.

Where can you check the gauges online?
Is it possible to do so for Jones Creek?

We bought our first house in BR over in that area off O'Neal/old Hammond and never had a street flood. Saw aerial pics of it this morning and it's completely underwater

Corner of Jefferson and Bluebonnet should probably be ok. Elevation north of Jefferson rises quickly. South of Jefferson is iffy and just depends on the exact slab elevation.
BTW, we've communicated indirectly before, went to the Kentucky Derby and my buddy was texting you for some advice.

Chadsford is one street over and closer to the ditch and it's worse over there.
I rescued 3 from two separate homes on Chadsford around 9am by kayak. One elderly woman was by herself and didnt even know her address. I grabbed a bunch of her mail with her address, stuffed them in a ziplock and put them in her pocket. She said she didnt know anyone in BR so I ferried her off to a truck who was taking her to a house with power and A/C.

Is your area in a blue 100yr flood zone or was it supposed to be staying dry?
ETA: I thought Shenandoah was supposed to be high ground
We are not in a 100 year flood zone here.

Tell me about it. If I could just get to Sherwood Forest, I could save a good bit of their stuff.

On wafb the guy said that the gauges for jones creek at old hammond and bayou manchac are most likely non responsive hence the flat line...I was hoping it was bc it was staying steady
