Hoping it doesn't rise too much. But not looking good. It has to go somewhere.

I'm maybe 130-150 yards from fountain. Decided to stay in Nola.

I've been frustrated about this also. My internet went out yesterday due to the water so i haven't been able to stream from any other source. Extremely disappointed in the local outlets not covering the situation today.

WAFB has been wall to wall coverage, but national media has practically ignored this. Ridiculous

Close to Ground zero at the moment. Doubt her property made it.

I think they will be fine but others closer to Airline in some of the newer subdivisions may not be

Thanks, my granddaughter is in Prarieville. Spoke yesterday, she had gone to Walmart from her apartment to get food. Said water on road. I don't even have her address...that's all I know of her location. Sounds that in general from responses things generally OK there.

see increases in backflow if Amite and Comite are cresting?

The Comite @ Hooper has already crested and is falling, and the Amite has crested, according to WBRZ.

Yeah looks like the float is stuck, up against the top limit or is flooded. NOAA should get out and bang on the sensor tube to unstick it. (don't actually do that, OK).

No more measurements going to come from Manchac. Manual gauge is now completely underwater

so what does that mean for the 21.5 number?

Any update on White Oak Landing, specifically Creek Round Avenue? I can't get to my parents house (they are out of town) as Woodlake Drive was under water.

Water was supposedly near their front and back entrance as of two hours ago and didn't appear to be receding.

I turned by that Subway at 9am this morning. The area wasn't bad.

Is her house on the North or South side of Florida?

Not sure how this affects the water flow y'all way, but bayou Lafourche in Thib is up a few feet with no noticeable movement

From what I understand there are lots of them in place because they can't do mandatory testing.

In a time like this, probably better to be safe Tham sorry if you can boil.
