How's Festus?
Yes, anyone have the status of him? His sons live in an area I think they are saying to leave now.

if anyone is in the camelot subdivision and can give an update, that would be greatly appreciated.

Looking for information on the Westminster/Pine Park subdivision. I know Ward's runs along the side of it. Has anyone heard anything?

Any way to find out the elevation of Bluebonnet vs Burbank? At Bluebonnet, Bayou Fountain was at least a couple feet below street level, while Burbank was almost at street level when I rode past a little while ago.
Zoom in for contours to show up.

Cars at target are getting close to DONE. Not yet

I just drove by there, actually. Sherwood and North Lake Sherwood drive are under probalby 6" of water, but people are still driving through.
The whole area seems to be passable.
On a side note... have any idea where there might be an open gas station around here?

Can anybody tell me how the area is on corner of Stumberg/Coursey. My elderly MIL is there right now and because of AT&T, have no way to get in touch with her.

Any updated with white oak? Can't get a hold of a friend there and may have to go check. I've heard reports of backflow there

Interesting. If I'm reading it right, Bluebonnet is 16', and Burbank is 14' at the points I was talking about, which pretty much agrees with my observations.

Bayou Manchac backflooding quick in the old Jefferson/Pecan Creek area.

Saw that I-10 was shut down between 165 (Kinder exit) and Jennings due to flooding. With the Mermentau expected to flood, I would expect there will be issues on that end of the state for a while.

Yes, its open. Went in search of food. Evacuated last night at midnight, my boyfriend had to come get me by boat. Still wearing the clothes I walked through flood water. Slept in my car with my dog and cat because my car can't navigate these high water strets. Fun times!
