What a freaking disaster. My brother and his family evacuated to Sherwood...is it supposed to flood over there?

It is my understanding that it already has.

people with boats, canoes, shite even large inflatables need to be ready if the burbank/highland area goes. There are so many people down here that will need to be rescued since the major roads to get to higher ground a la HIGHland crosses over bayou fountain.

How in the hell does cell service completely go down??? This just got bad if people can't communicate that they need help.

most of the cell sites in the BR area are on ground level except if they're adjacent to a river. Also, cell sites require transport back to a central office. In all likelyhood, that transport path is now underwater.

I'm in Killian, we are a little over 6 feet above flood stage and it's pouring rain here again.

Was at flannery and old Hammond and hour ago trying to get to a nursing home.... Roads were completely flooded so we couldn't continue. In 30 minutes the water creeped 75 yards further up old Hammond. People were waking up shocked.

Long shot but you wouldn't have any guess to how high the water is along Cypress drive in Terry Harbor would you?

This!!!.. we're talking thousands upon thousands of people down here and we got two feet till all hell breaks loose... and Burbank being built up essentially damns that water in between itself and highland

Can anyone give me a report on Webb park area, please?

Near Broussard and Glenmore, all has been fine here. Haven't ventured down closer to Webb Park specifically, but mid-city has fared well so far.

There now. Drains are filled to the brim, most flood zone areas have at least some water in them.

it's my understanding that we're basically playing russian roulette with the backwater around these parts.

Do they use facebook at all? You could try messaging if so.

I apologize if this was obvious to you =/
