I don't think this is as rare as you think.
Old guys are a different era when too dumb not to fight was the norm.
On a side note, older you get, the quicker you know how to end a fight quickly. Moderate strength in a single thumb applied to soft tissue areas can immobilize the opponent quickly. More important part is knowing how to dispose of the body if you apply too much pressure. In the old days it was easier but now any Sonic has way too many cameras on site and just your luck some pimple faced 16 year old will film you on their cell phone.
