I was one of those "I never get the flu shot and have always been fine" dudes for the longest time. To me, the flu was something other people got. Then three years ago I got the flu and couldn't believe how miserable that was; I didn't know it was possible to feel as horrible as I felt. Been getting the shot ever since

I've have seen at least 1 case daily. Last week I had 5 cases in 2 days. These people have looked like walking death. Some have comorbids, some are typically healthy.

Even if I swab positive for the flu I'll still be getting a shot after all is said and done. I've known people who got two different stands of the flu in the same year. No thanks.
