Where we lived in New Jersey, there was a Dunkin Donuts within walking distance from our house. It is also run by Indians. It is the worst DD I've ever been to in my life.

So yeah a thank you discount will be nice as a thank you for the people whos ancestors actually built this opportunity for them but ends up getting taken advantage of by foreigners who did nothing to earn it.
We don't even know how the business was funded. Regardless, if their franchise sucks, it will fail. If it prospers, it will be because of hard work and smart decisions. :shrugs: deal with it, I guess.

You nor I know but of course, but legit assumptions can be made how they got funded and how they ended up here.

Tucker has an interview from this past week talking about how bad Maine/NH/Vermont is when it comes to the Chinese and Indian take over of businesses and weed.
The guy being interviewed grew up there and is from generations of Americans from there. How bad it's gotten sounds sad.
But lots of people on here don't seem to care how bad our visa immigration system is and not being fixed. It's not just Latinos.

Maybe from your POV. An assumption, nonetheless.

Unless you're advocating for mass deportation to rollback demographics to whatever you find more palatable, America has been transformed. Better that we, the taxpayers, get ROI on merit-based success than to salivate over a fantasy on a message board.

People like you are why this nation got transformed and keep wanting to let it happen. Sad mentality that's disgraceful.
Fix the native Americans to get that ROI instead of continuous destruction of our culture.

And so I'm clear, this would be ideal.

Hardly. These changes were set in motion before I was even of age to vote. I favor merit-based immigration and not the current system. I would also favor a cap to focus on opportunities for our current population. Unlike you, I'm just not obsessed with what the beneficiaries look like.

And there it is. Can't have a conversation regarding the issues, and how to fix without one side getting butt hurt and accusing the other side of being "mUh racist"
I guess you don't want Latinos deported that need to be.

A stupid statement that is completely incompatible with the words I've actually written. I guess that's your butthurt showing.

I didn't call you a racist. I haven't accused you of any antagonism towards others. You clearly prefer to roll back demographics. You stated it yourself. By contrast, all I care about is the merit, whatever that means for the composition.
Cry wolf some more, though.

I care about maintaining the traditional American culture, and you thinking that's bad. That's on you, and I repeat disgraceful.
There is not merit verification in importing people to do what Americans can do.
Only a naive fool thinks I'm crying wolf over the mass abuse of our immigration system, as a whole. Keep your head in the ground though.
No one is butt hurt, but I did notice you went to insulting instead of answering, and confirming either way.

They built one in Chalmette. New stand alone building.
Was open less than a year. Frozen donuts, meh coffee, and often out of sandwiches. Many times only one employee in the store, often surly and impolite
When it closed the franchise owner said a few words about how the market demos were not correct
A couple of months later, a French Press opened in the spot and its done awesome. Since then, a Starbucks and a 7 Brew have opened, as well as a Tasty Kreme donuts, and are killing it.
It’s not the demographics, it’s your crappy product

I haven't offered an opinion on if it's good or bad. I've stated your idea of mass deportation is fantasy.

Then man up and do so.
If you need help on my end I don't care where they are from I want our immigration system fully fixed. Includes abuse from Latinos to Indians to any non-Americans.
And you can try to gaslight all you want, but you threw out the "people that don't look like" card. That's no different than crying racism.

I go there everyday for coffee and occasionally a donut.
On weekends the drive thru can stretch onto veterans but the line moves fairly quickly.

Haven’t been to a Dunkin’ Donuts in 20 years and I will never go again
I don’t drink coffee and they make the worst donuts on the planet
I dont care if the whole crew is from Slumdog Millionaire
