re: The Depp/Heard Trial is the gift that keeps on giving

That's what I was getting to in my comments about being on the jury. Most don't want to be there, most are bored, but also most are intelligent enough to see that this is all Elaine and Amber have to come up with. A bunch of friends and a sister spending hours saying that he yelled, drank, and snorted, BUT never touched her. The jury is probably pissed at Elaine and pissed at Amber because of it. I know a jury is supposed to be fair and impartial but they're human, so honestly they aren't a lot of the time. My jury hated the defense lawyer so much 3 or 4 people were going to vote guilty out of spite

Either Depp hit Amber or he didn't. The jury must decide what, if any, of Amber's testimony they believe. Multiple witnesses saying Depp had a temper supports a temper, but too much of that indicates to me they are concerned that the jury will not believe Amber.

So its on to closing if that happens?
I think they will have to do the jury charge conference first. That will take a couple of hours at least. Often times the judge will give the jury a half day off for that, then have them come back for closing.

We will have to see the jury charge, but I think there is room for the jury to zero Depp even if they believe he never hit her.

I agree.
Goodness, this testimony is filled with objections and no substance. Why did they call him?

this deposition of Johnny's attorney is ridiculous.

Should Depp do rebuttal? My instinct is no. You'd have to see the jury to make the call, but if you really think you are winning, sit down and shut up.
I'd maybe call 2 people on rebuttal
1) recall the psychologist Depp's team had on their case-in-chief... just to say all the stuff that Heard's psychologist said is BS and that after watching the proceedings in the court not only do I stand behind what I said earlier but I double down on it
2) apparently there's a letter out there that's known about where Whitney apparently said the stairs incident is BS... they can call the person who either wrote or received that letter to get it into evidence to debunk Whitney's retelling of the stairs incident... the only incident of Depp abusing Amber that has some kind of witness corroboration (Whitney)

Oh holy hell here we go again with Elaine not being able to ask a damn allowable question

Elaine's doing this on purpose to try and make Depp's attorney seem evasive... having the other lawyer's voice saying "attorney/client privilege" kinda mutes the damage Elaine's trying to do

She did this aboot 350 times. Is that going to turn into 350 censures? She needs to run a 3-legged race, to the hospital, to have Camille's foot removed from her rear-end.

I wonder if only fans allows scat fetish/A&M’s stuff. Amber may really have a niche what with the bed poop and violence.

That's probably a compliment.

This is such a ridiculous waste of time. I get it, they had to call/depose him since this who Heard is saying defamed her on Depp's behalf but it's 99.9% attorney-client privilege objections. I would be annoyed as a juror.

if this guy was on the stand right now... this would be a replay of Heard's redirect
Elaine: *asks question*
Ben Chew: "Objection. Attorney/Client Privilege"
Judge: "Sustained."
Elaine: "I-uh-eh-oh-I..."

"abuse" is a difficult concept to define. The jury can find "abuse" just based on dysfunction. They certainly can do as you suggest.

The problem for Heard, from what I've seen, is that they have made the abuse argument almost entirely physical and sexual abuse. Her physical/sexual abuse claims are so outlandish I can't imagine any juror actually believes her. However, Depp almost certainly could be considered to have verbally abused her, that is much more believable. They haven't pushed that angle much though and all of the recordings of him with her are him sounding very calm and collected while she sounds insane.
The worst one for him was the slamming cabinets video but even then in that video she says nothing happened to her and he was slamming cabinets, not her. If he was such a monster who constantly beat her when he was angry why did he not hit her in that video? It makes no sense.

this is the video that Camille outright accused Amber of selling to TMZ to demean Johnny

Right and that is her best evidence of his anger and rage. It's a joke.

I would give him $10 million. The $3 million she has earned, plus the $7 million he had to give her in the divorce settlement. She said she didn't want the 7 anyway.
