A high-energy, alpha president would have a bigger crowd. Sad.

In following tradition of articles like this, im sure the top one has been photoshopped and the bottom one was taken hours before the even started.

A lot more Trump supporters are actually working today. They have jobs.

Hate this kind of answer in these threads. If you can't discuss it without getting banned, perhaps you really are racist.

I think it has more to do with Trump going in as the least popular president since they have been doing polling..

I would sort of expect this. Obama's was more of a historic event.

What time was the Trump pic taken? I promise you it was a little more filled in than that when they would cut away during his speech.

To be fair, 246k people in Washington DC voted for Obama in 2008 compared to 13k for Trump in 2016

Ya, I'm heading to DC now for a birthday weekend and I'm curious about the mood tonight. I don't really care about either of these folks but I enjoy a good bit of chaos and people losing their minds.

Considering how the election turned out, I think we all should cool it on citing polls for awhile.

I saw it live, that Trump photo is inaccurate IMO. Still may not have had as many regardless but it looked like more than that on tv

agree, it sure looked packed from what I saw, all the way to the washington monument, hell the CNN guys even mentioned it was packed and how many people there were

Maybe they hired the film crew that shot Hillary's campaign rallies.

I went to an inauguration a few years ago, I think everyone should try to do it at least once, it was like a subdued Mardi Gras, and just like the witching hour on Mardi Gras night, it just stopped

That still shot was an hour before. It filled up more than that. Still not 2009 crowded but still.

This. They showed an aerial of the mall closer to starting and it didn't look like that.

So not only are we comparing the first African American President's 1st inauguration with the 44th Caucasian President's inauguration, we're also ignoring the Democrat vs Republican difference in the North East?

I don't see how this could be skewered at all.
