Bart Hansen, who is the owner and lead coach for Crush Live Poker. And the premier trainer for live poker IMO. I've watched thousands of hours of his videos and I've never heard him be so confused by a situation. He asks several times if the reader has the cards wrong because it's so odd of a situation.

You must be worth billions

Since you just know poker stuffs.

Forget the part where its still a game of chance. You know it just enough to not actually stake anything.

I just don't understand your choice of the word "best" when referring to the call...especially when nearly the entire poker world is going with opposite adjectives. There's nothing but sheer dumb arse luck that won her that hand.

Yea, that’s how bad of a call it is. If she were considered a pro, there would be 0 doubt she was cheating. The call just isn’t a thing

@BartHanson

I’m just getting my phone back now (post stream) so haven’t seen any of the public discussion yet, including the Garrett tweet. Just want to say that at this exact point, I don’t know what the hell happened last night

Yeah, live games are great with people playing 80% of hands.

I mean it took me two seconds to find a game well over this price range where this happens when they both have jack high

Lol, I don’t play poker for a living. It’s very hard to make a decent living off of poker. It’s just a hobby of mine.

Not all j high calls are the same. Some are correct in theory

Also, the context of this video is because the guy mucked his hand without showing when they were chopping. The jack plays on that board

That it is. I tried very briefly once and the variance is enough to drive you insane. You grow to hate the game. It's much better as a side gig/profitable hobby.

It was a massive call on a completely blank board with jack high and blind faith

It happens

She even says that she thought he had ace high or something, which makes her call that much worse

Never tired, bc I feel like the stress of having to win to provide for my family would make me grow to hate the game.

I understand you're just trolling, or at least I hope so, but for the others actually interested the first problem with your supposed same situation is that your hand is a tournament hand and the hand in question is a cash game. I'll let you explain the difference.

Exactly. And being underolled doesn't help with that either. Nothing like showing up trying to make some money for the week and you leave a few hours later 2k in the hole.

One of the last hands I played when doing it full time was a 2k pot or so with KK vs AK all in pre and he flops two aces which just ends the hand right there. I snap quit and didn't play again for quite a while.
