Not that, just that there was almost assuredly no grudge. The production team left Live at the Bike and got Garrett to go with them. If they disliked him, they'd have left him at Live at the Bike.
Garrett is a big part of the show. Andy is probably #2. There is no Hustler stream without Garrett and Andy, almost assuredly.
Gotcha. Thanks for the background.
Do you have any take on what happened with the crew member stealing from her stack? Coincidence?

A member of the crew skimming $15k just because he saw an opportunity is plausible enough, especially if he thought she "didn't deserve it." But the part where she didn't press charges is too freaking weird. A guy attempts to steal $15k from you and you're like "nah, it's no big deal."??
Relating to the cheating theory (I'm not claiming this as fact just putting these facts inside the theory):
This was likely his payment for giving her information. But with the extra scrutiny after this went viral, the casino security caught him. She doesn't want to press charges because then it opens her (and the "thief") up to more questions by actual authorities.

Dumb move even if they were in on it together. Just get cash from her later. Not chips in a casino where there are countless cameras. Even if it wasn't caught on camera, a crew member cashing in high value chips is going to raise eyebrows. Or you'll have to pay someone to do it for you. I don't get what any of them are thinking here.

Yeah, I think the same. I guess we just pinned them with different motives.
So purely an act of avarice and opportunity, you think?

Funny business going on in high stakes poker…shocking.
It’s nothing new.

Chips make not reporting income much easier and come in higher denominations than cash money to make transport of the unreported income easier.

Yall act like you never played poker with women before.
You can make textbook plays, they counter with "I had a feeling"

Hadn't seen the red ring theory yet, but just re-watched and - sure enough - yeah...that's extremely fishy, especially how she felt the need to put her hand below the table to remove/turn it. Way too many weird things going on with this situation.
Posted on 10/7/22 at 8:25 am to SlowFlowPro
Well yeah, but you have to turn it into cash at some point, right?
Posted on 10/7/22 at 8:27 am to EarlyCuyler3
Yeah it's an easy way to launder money and/or keep it off the IRS's radar.

I mentioned it a few days ago, but didn’t get any feedback

Has the red ring been mentioned as a possible cheating device?
She had the ring examined by a jeweler with a reporter present to report the results.
The media is digging through her life. Here are some pics.

So not only do they force her to a backroom and shake her down to return the money, they steal her chips, WHILE they have her back there. What in the frick
It would have been a much shorter post to just have typed:
“I don’t have a clue about this story”

PLO6…is that a new game with a 6 low qualifier rather than the typical 8?

Robbie posted an apparent message from the guy that took the $15k off of her stack. It’s pretty lengthy, so I’m not going to post it in here, but go read it. Very skeptical. Also, she claims she doesn’t know him, but they are following each other on Twitter.
And if this is a how your session went, got absolutely crushed in my local 1/2 game last night. Folded for 5 hours and only 3 hands of note I lost. Got flush over flushed for a nice pot, had KQss on a K43K8 board, ran into 33, then AAs in a 3 bet pot. Guy went x/c, x/c, lead on third spade. Of course he has the flush. The table was great though had well over $15k on in for a 1/2 game. Unfortunately couldn’t get anything going. Variance is a bitch

Ok, I haven’t delved too deeply into the cheating conspiracy but let’s say, she’s got someone seeing everyone’s hole cards. That someone can communicate via a buzzing red ring or some other shite.
Even with all that knowledge, are you making that call without knowing what was coming off the deck on the river?
I’m not.
So it has to be a rigged deck or the dealer involved right? Seems a little far fetched.

So, they could be buzzing her that she will have the best hand after the river. This is less likely as she decided to run it twice.
More likely, they buzzed her that she has the best hand and she didn’t realize how it’d look to the poker community.
Think about it like this. She wins the hand 55% of the time if she knows Garrett’s exact hand.
Not rigging the deck, reading the players hole cards.

Remember he bet the turn right. She put in a small raise. Did she know then she was ahead? Then he shoved against her small bluff. Did she get confused? Would they buzz her again? Maybe all she knew was she was ahead. Then it was up to her.
