The childish reasoning behind race identification

When kids come running to the Christmas tree on Christmas morning, none of them concern themselves with the wrapping paper, or what kind of box it is that is wrapped, but only what is on the inside of the box, ferociously tearing into the presents to find out what’s inside, and yet as we get older, we care very little enough to find out what is on the inside of a person and who they are, but only what the wrapping paper is and what kind of box it is that is wrapped. Few ever take the time to tear into the actual present itself to see what kind of person is on the inside.

If the world actually understood the concept of why racism is wrong, and were truly opposed to it as they claim to be, then they would shirk from it at every corner, not justify it with some and condemn it with others, depending upon the color of the skin in question.

People identify with their skin color as if it is some sort of personal accomplishment they earned that sets them apart from others and makes them a part of a group rather than being simply a genetic concoction they were given as a result of 2 people having sex. It’s just a meat sack that is meant to house the actual human being occupying the meat sack. That’s it. Your personal appearance is no more to your credit as it is to your detriment. When people understand this very simple concept they begin to understand that every single one of us are human beings that want the same thing, and that is to be valued as human beings, and not a cog in the wheel of life, or a part of some larger group of humanity, or special colony of worker bees, but that they matter as an individual. We spend our entire lives searching for the exact same things, no matter who you are, and that is to be valued and loved, to have meaning and purpose, have self worth, and recognition from others that we are unique and matter, and yet somehow many get derailed into thinking that some genetic marker will do that for them, and it just fails to deliver because as a sack of meat, it does not have the capacity to do so. The body eventually fades away, and what we are left with is the same that we began life with, the person inside the meat sack.

To hate someone for their skin color is absurd, but equally as absurd is it to place blame on someone born with a particular genetic concoction for the sins of other individuals who shared a similar genetic concoction in history. Both are equally the most infantile mindsets we have working in society today, and yet self professed intellectuals, even learned people who assume themselves to be society’s moral and intellectual superiors cannot help but dabble in this childishness as if it makes any good sense whatsoever.
