Most of us under the age of 60 and living in the U.S. have been enjoying world peace our entire lives.
Without the internet and T.V., I'd have no idea that folks in the Middle East have traditionally had a difficult time getting along with each other.

I don't see why that's necessarily a problem.
Here's the big problem: people having kids they can't afford. It's universal. All the problems in every society can be boiled down to this. And within our lifetimes with the growing population, we're going to have to deal with this in a war-like scenario. The countries that are more responsible in birthing kids will be on one side, and the ones that pop out kids as if they were the Duggars on the other side. It will be about 30-50 years away, but it will happen.
Islamic terrorism is up there, but it still can be boiled down to one thing: Unwanted kids. Osama Bin Laden had 53 siblings. Coincidence? I think not.
