Go get some henna tattoos on your face and neck a day or 2 before your summons.

A big part of the reason the justice system is viewed negatively is because of bad jury verdicts. Jury verdicts are bad because people like you instantly start trying to get out of jury duty when they get a summons.

I can promise you that jury verdicts aren’t the reason I feel that way

Kind of extreme, but croak. Nothing they can do about that.

I get called twice a year or so. My wife and 2 girls (no pics) were bragging they have never been called. Within 2 weeks all 3 were summoned.
Tell me Alexa isn’t listening…..

I’ve been picked 2-3 times, call night before and then they say I don’t have to show. Same with a subpoena I got as a expert witness for a civil case. Never had to actually show up.

If it's a murder trial, ask if the death penalty is on the table. Defense team will cut you every time.

This was years ago but someone I know, SAID.. and I believe them, I am just saying I didn't actually witness it.. but they said they made it to the 2nd day and then just raised their hand and told them "I do not care about this case. I don't care who is guilty or innocent, I am just being honest, but my decisions will be made on whatever gets this trial over with, if I am selected" and the judge said "jury _ may be excused". So if you truly don't care, tell them.

Tell the judge you believe in jury nullification and you will be out of the courtroom in 5 minutes.

I recently have come to the conclusion the public interest for conviction should be an element of every crime. In other words making the prosecution convince the jury that this conviction will benefit society.
