AEW first official PPV is tonight which is going to be the beginning of the AEW/WWE war.
I think this will be a good ppv with some surprises along the way. Multiple “free agents” can appear tonight. Which makes this promotion even better, there are so many good and top tier wrestlers out there who got a red arse for WWE which makes them want to be apart of something that can become superior to WWE.

If you're gonna compete, tonight's show can't look like a upscale indie show like that last All In, which was a big scam.

All In was a Ring of Honor production masked as some independent event and Cody got all pissy and defensive once he got called out for it.

I know wrestling is all a work and everything, but working indy rubes into thinking these guys had all of their income on the line for a big show is a bit much.

Indy wrestling fans like to act like they're the smartest marks out there, but were embarrassed to admit when they didn't know this.

WWE is producing a shite product and talks to you like you're stupid.

Cody and company flat out took advantage of their stupid fan base while at the same time able to hide behind them.

That's a shitty card for all the "talent" they claim to have.

Its not necessarily a bad card, just a lot of unknown names. Their idea is to let the younger talent get themselves over in the ring. I've heard good things about Sammy Guevara and the Chinese guys from OWE so I'm looking forward to them.

the Guevera/Saban match is supposed to be very high flying and a fast, exciting lead in for the main show

Seems like they need them to get over on the mic. Getting over in the ring doesn't usually work, imo.

to be fair... they're doing Marty Scurll's thing... and Scurll isn't a part of AEW (yet)

This.....there ain't a match on this card that will be close to the work that Styles and Rollins put in at MITB....unless Omega can carry Jericho (the last match between Jericho and Naito was the shits and it wasn't Naito's fault)....I know Cody can't carry Dustin plus we've seen that match already

ETA Also there isn't anybody on that card that will draw a house like Reigns or Lesnar
